OUR STORY
I began my career as a software engineer in 2016, enjoying the technical challenges and innovations of the field. In 2019, I entered a new chapter of my life—marriage—and in 2020, we welcomed a beautiful baby boy into our family.
However, post-pregnancy, I faced an unexpected challenge: severe hair loss that led to visible bald patches. This issue took a toll on my mental health, leading to depression and a withdrawal from social life, which even affected my bond with my newborn.
During this tough time, the unwavering support of my mother-in-law was my pillar of strength. Inspired to help, she turned to an ancient Ayurveda hair oil recipe, a cherished secret passed down from her own mother. She meticulously sourced natural ingredients from across the country, ensuring they were of the highest quality, and lovingly prepared the oil at home.
The results were nothing short of miraculous. After six months of regular application, my hair began to recover, and the bald patches faded. Encouraged by this transformation, I was inspired to share this magic with others. My mother-in-law and I began sharing the oil with family and friends, who were equally amazed by the results.
Fueled by positive feedback, we launched our venture through Instagram, quickly becoming the 'SAAS BABU Jodi'—a dynamic mother-in-law and daughter-in-law team at the helm of Herbs Mitra. Despite skepticism from some about competing with larger companies, we stood firm on the quality and integrity of our product.
Our hair oil is handcrafted without any artificial chemicals, designed to strengthen and nourish hair naturally. Beyond our product, our mission is personal. I am fortunate to have a loving family and a supportive mother-in-law, but I believe strongly that every woman should have the opportunity to be financially independent.
